Potential Poster Design
I am working closely with the director of “Kings”, Carter Breaux, to create movie poster ideations that we are both happy with. As an artist who works with other artists, it’s super important to me to create something that truly captures the energy of their film. At the same time, a poster needs to be eye-catching enough to entice potential viewers to come watch! It’s a fun challenge to balance these two essential elements. Creating movie posters is one of my favorite projects to be a part of because it is such a collaborative process. It’s something we can all look back at and say we had a hand in making it possible.

Making movies can involve creating non-visual graphics. Building a world requires us to create products for that world. Fake websites advertising fake events sponsored by fake associations are just one of many world-building elements that help make a movie feel real.

Here’s another example of some of the world-building needed for this film. The best way to create a believable graphic is to study real-life examples. For this, I studied emails I’ve received from my own alma mater, Missouri State University.
